Yes. Yes. Kinda.

It's hard to be happy when uncomfortable (or worse). Money buys one comfort. But the money and comfort are not the complete enablers of happiness.

There is another hard-to-measure element, and it includes attitudes and orientation. We all know people for whom riches would make no difference, and others who are at peace with themselves and their meager financial situation.

A rational positive outlook based on more than dreams is key. Regardless of the starting point, if one can see that they can make life better, they can be happy.
