What about threats? They're only kinda sorta dictatorial.

"Join up or burn in Hell!" (Religion is popular these days.)

"If you don't, I'll find you." (Stalking, too.)

"Do it or you'll find a horse head in your bed." (Cinematic threats are always memorable.)

But you may need to change or photoshop your image to look a bit more crazed.
