My pleasure!
More than once I've overestimated the abilities of companions based on their enthusiasm and my bit of arrogance, one might call it, that all in reasonable physical shape will have no trouble doing what I do.
But it goes the other way, on occasion. I always strongly encouraged my kids to do more when hiking. "Come on...you can do it!"
When my adult daughter and I were headed up Snowy Mountain, I told her I needed to take a break.
"Come on, Dad, you can keep going."
"No, Kate, I need to stop," and I sat on a nearby rock.
Big smile on her face, she stepped close to me and said, "Turnabout's a bitch, eh Dad?"
I laughed out loud, but did not rise.
