Low bridge...everybody down...

I worked at Kodak for 29 years and wrote some of those patents that were sold. Of the myriad of reasons for the downfall of Kodak, one rarely mentioned is that of personal interest vs. the future of the company. Many short-sighed decisions were made with the intent of making the company last just long enough to secure "my" retirement.

And I'd put little stock in what executives tell you.
