I was home sick when the announcement of JFK's death arrived. I was annoyed by the entire thing because all the TV channels (all 3 of them) were only showing newscasts, not the entertainment that I had "extended" the malady in order to see. And there was no new news. Just a bunch of conjecture and half-reports from people who knew little.
