But isn't there a difference? Unless the headache is chronic, aspirin is a short term solution. The weight loss drugs treat "chronic overweight," not a short episode. The research says that when one stops the treatment, most or all of the weight is likely to return.

What people choose to put into their bodies is their own choice (as long as it does not debilitate them and impact others). Hence using weight loss drugs is a good policy for many. But it appears to be a lifetime commitment, and should not be classified like taking an aspirin for an occasional headache.
