And Other Aspirations
Jim and Randy put the canoe in at the northern crossing of Route 10 over the West Branch Sacandaga River (Hamilton County, NY). Our plans were simple and ambitious. After paddling downstream to Trout Lake and setting up camp, we’d bushwhack to a high ridge near the campsite, and then return and celebrate our conquest by enjoying the Perseids Meteor Shower after dinner.
