Pointed out the Pointed Man, in the Pointless Forest.*

Artwork help is also appreciated.

Do you “like to write?” Perhaps the truth for most is closer to the notion that one “would like to have written.”

The creative process of putting words on paper, or dictating to a machine, or typing codes into a computer, is fraught with stuff that seems like work. Conjuring up a story idea (too easy!), capturing the basic nugget (before it is forgotten), research (thank goodness this is no longer necessary in the time of bluster and alternative “facts”), pounding out the basic story (begone for now, internal second guesser), editing, review, editing, reviewing, editing, reviewing…

Does any of this sound like fun to you? Conjuring is clearly fun, and capturing that nugget is well worth the effort to document your brilliance for the future generations sure to want to benefit from your enlightening thoughts. After that, not so much.

So the funnel is jammed full of wonderful ideas, or ideas that at least at one time seemed wonderful. Cloud-based repositories like Google Drive provide a perfect place for these embryonic creatures to linger, patiently awaiting the day when they become stories or posts or the greatest novel of our times. Or novels, plural. Dream big if you dream at all!

I Write. Hopefully, you smile. Or maybe think a new thought. Striving to present words and pictures you can't ignore. Sometimes in complete sentences.
